Jolene Hansell is a conflict resolution practitioner and communications specialist. She has a Master’s of Conflict Resolution Candidate at Georgetown University. The primary focus of her work is on transitional justice and rule of law, particularly in post-conflict countries.

Jolene has worked as an Intern for Human Rights Watch’s African Division, as a Policy and Advocacy Intern for the Center for Civilians in Conflict, as a Legal Intern in the Office of the Prosecutor, Appeals and Legal Advisory Division, for the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and as Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs.
